Web Site Builder
Our proprietary tool for creating web sites. It is geared to those of use who prefer to hand code the site, test it on a local server, then FTP it up to the host. Features include variable support in CSS files, link checking, file inclusion, and easy templating.

Expose
Expose started out as tool to read and edit binary files. With the addition of grep- and sed- like commands I really started using it a lot. After several years of tweaking, it has evolved into a nice collection of programmer tools all colleced under a simple user interface. Hardly a day goes by when I don't use it for some task or other.

Litigation Support
Wrote CASE-Links, a commercial database tool for managing the discovery materials and depositions in large litigation cases. Case-Links was closely integrated wih CAT-Links, a proprietary deposition file format. I wrote this one myself from the ground up using C (pre-C++!!) and early versions of the Windows SDK (although I did have a couple of non-programmer helpers thru the years).

Factory Automation
At Priam Corp, a clean room assembly line consisting of 22 robots and several manual stations built high quality disk drives. I worked on the the project from design to inception, writing the C code and communnications to monitor and manage the whole system.
Also worked at Corning Glass as a process engineer (and in various supervisory roles) where I wrote fortran code and worked with Programmable Logic Controlers.

Public Key Cryptography
Today more than ever a strong background in cryptography is essential for safe and responsible web development. I implemented a Rivest PKS as part of my thesis for my master's degree in computer science.
Not only did this work provide a firm background in cryptography, but also in abstact algebra and advanced numerical analysis.
